About Us
TerraCore is owned and operated by Michael Tripp, a born-and-raised Guelph-ite with a background that covers both ends of the job site.
I spent 10 years operating heavy equipment on commercial and civil projects across Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, and the GTA. Over that time, I built up a well-rounded understanding of how projects actually come together, from reading a site to coordinating the work to seeing it through to completion. Going back to school to earn a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology wasn't a pivot, it was a commitment. This industry is what I love, and I wanted the technical foundation to back it up.
When I'm not on a job site, you'll find me on a bike, skiing, or out fishing. I tend to approach my work the same way I approach those things, with patience, focus, and a genuine interest in doing it well.
TerraCore exists because I wanted to bring that passion and expertise directly to the people in this community. Every project I take on gets my full attention, from the planning phase through to execution and completion. That's the standard I hold every project to.
